Keep college coach replies and your outreach drafts in one place. It runs on your family's own Gmail account. This is optional. You stay the sender, always.
What BaseballPath is
BaseballPath is a college recruiting service. We work with high school baseball families. A player sends us their metrics, their grades, and what they want in a school. We send back a ranked report. It names the college programs that fit them. Every family also gets help writing to those coaches. That is where your email comes in. Some travel and school programs partner with us, and their families get the same help.
How it works

You connect your Google account.
A parent or guardian clicks Connect your email on the family's recruiting page. Then they approve the permissions on Google's own screen. This is optional. Nothing is read until they approve it.

Coach replies show up on your page.
We look through recent mail for replies from college coaches. Those replies show up on your recruiting page. If your travel or school program works with us, the coach who runs it can help you answer them.

Outreach drafts land in your Gmail.
You write to a college coach through BaseballPath. We put that message in your own Gmail Drafts folder. Nothing leaves your account until you press Send. When you do, that draft goes out from your own address, to the one school in front of you.
What we access, and why
Google names these two permissions when you connect. Here is what each one is for.
See your email messages and settings
We use this only to find replies from college coaches. We check every sender against our list of college coaching staff addresses. A reply shows up on your recruiting page only when two things are true. The sender is a confirmed coach address. And no one has answered that email yet. Everything else in your mailbox is filtered out on our servers. Your program never sees it. We never store it.
Manage drafts and send emails
We use this permission for two things and nothing else. BaseballPath writes your outreach email as a draft in your own Gmail Drafts folder. Then, when you press Send on that one school, it sends that one draft from your own address. One press sends one email to one school. We never send on a timer, we never send in bulk, and we never send anything you did not press Send on.
What we never do
- We never send anything you did not press Send on. No coach ever gets a blast from us, and every email one gets comes from your own address.
- We never use Gmail data for advertising.
- We never sell Gmail data. We never share it outside your own program.
- We never use Gmail data to train AI or machine learning models.
- Your program never sees the rest of your mail. It sees replies from confirmed college coach addresses and nothing else.
BaseballPath's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our full privacy policy describes how we handle this data.
Parents and guardians
Most high school players are under 18. A parent or guardian should connect the account. Or they should approve it first. The account stays your family's own. No program ever gets access to it.
Turning it off
You can disconnect at any time. Use the same place you connected. That revokes our access with Google. It also deletes the stored connection. You can remove it yourself at your Google account permissions.
