Why this school
Johns Hopkins is a real academic reach, with an 8 percent admit rate and your 1500 sitting below the school average of 1553, so the baseball side is what keeps this conversation alive. On the field, your 91 exit velocity is right in the middle of the Centennial shortstop group, the 7.0 run time is a tick better than the middle of that group, and your 85 arm is above where most of their committed infielders sit. Six of the 14 projected infielders are seniors, so there is room for someone to earn trust early. Baltimore gives you a small, serious campus of 5,617 undergrads, and the sticker is about $63,000, but the average family pays around $19,000 after need-based aid.

In Their Words
Real players. Real parents. Real coaches.
“Most of these services are hard to trust, you don't know the backstory. This one, you took literal stats, and the metrics are right there. That makes it trustworthy.”
“I've been doing this for 50 years, and I do it the old school way. This will help me tremendously. Now when I get in my car, I know where I'm going.”
“For a family or a kid that's kind of lost and doesn't really know where to look, it's worth their money.”
“The roster availability, I've never seen that on these platforms. That's what's so unique to your app.”
“It's a brilliant idea.”
“That's pretty accurate. That's actually where I'm aiming to recruit.”
What's At Stake
The window is short, and the wrong school is expensive.
He gets two summers to get recruited. That's it.
Coaches walk into a showcase knowing who they came to see. If he is not on that list, they are not there for him.
Aim too high or too low, and the right schools fill their spots before he ever writes.
Pick the wrong school and he lands in the transfer portal. Then he is recruiting himself all over again. The portal is not a do-over. Most players who enter it move down, not up.
You have paid for showcases, travel ball, and visits. All guesses. You need a straight answer on where he really fits.
What This Is
One honest read. Not a recruiting service.
Coaches hear from your son, not from us. We never blast a coach list, we do not promise to get him in, and there is no subscription. Most services get paid to keep the dream alive. We get paid once, to tell you the truth. He puts in his real numbers and grades. We compare him to more than 50,000 real college players. Then we map him to the schools that fit, on the field and in class, and write his first email to every one of them for him to send from his own inbox.
Coaches want this too. A college baseball head coach told us he wastes hours chasing kids the paid platforms hype to him. Those services get paid to say every kid is great, so coaches stop believing them and delete the emails. An honest number is rare on both sides of recruiting. That is what we sell.
That is the whole point for a parent. Is he chasing schools out of reach? Is he selling himself short and missing the schools that fit? You get one honest answer, built on real data, so the guessing ends and you focus on the right list, not every list.
“Transparency is what the schools and the coaches want, and what the recruit wants. You don't want to be led on the whole process.”
No sales pitch. No subscription. One honest read, for the player and the parent.
What Schools Really Cost
See the real price, not the sticker.
Parents ask who committed where. The bigger question is what it will cost you. Families cross off schools over the sticker price. The real price, after aid, is often far lower. Every school in your report carries What You'd Actually Pay, the real price for a family at your income. So you never cross off a school you could afford.

The Offer
Here is everything he gets.
The big services charge $2,000 to $6,000 for part of this. And they get paid to keep you hoping. You get all of it for $499. One time.
Nobody in recruiting makes money when a family stops guessing. Except the family. That is why you pay once.

Read the full terms
Unconditional, 7 days from the moment you open the report. It covers everything bought in that window, including Full Season. If you take the refund, the report stays open at Starting List level: the honest read, the ranked list, the reason behind every school, and the coach contacts. Send It, the drafts, the follow-up ladder, the Reply Scoreboard, and every Full Season feature switch off.
The Oh-fer Guarantee
The 60-Day College Coach Reply Guarantee
60 days to hear back from a college coach, or your money back and we keep working.
Read the full terms
Reach Out only. Send every drafted school through Send It within 30 days of opening the report (schools you remove do not count, schools you add do), send the Full-Count Follow-Up Ladder on schedule, and keep his numbers honest. Then the clock runs 60 days from the day you opened the report, paused on NCAA dead periods and the December shutdown, the days a coach is not permitted to answer. A reply means a human at a school on his list wrote back: an automatic reply does not count, and a plain no does count, because we get him heard and nobody can promise a yes. If no coach replies, we refund Reach Out in full, rebuild his list, and give him 30 more days of drafts, free.
The Double Play Guarantee
The Double-Your-Money-Back Roster-Offer Guarantee
Decision Day with no offer, double your money back, and we keep working.
Read the full terms
Full Season only. If he does everything and has no offer of a roster spot, a preferred walk-on spot, or a scholarship from any school on his list by National College Decision Day, May 1 of his senior year, we turn two: we pay you double what you paid for the purchase that included Full Season, net of any refund already issued, and we keep working with him free until he has one or his eligibility ends. An offer counts when a coach tells him there is a spot, in writing or in conversation: email threads count on their own, and a spoken offer is confirmed in the app. Doing everything means every school sent inside 30 days, the ladder on schedule, the weekly plan worked in at least 8 weeks out of 10, every coach reply answered inside 3 days, and honest numbers.

FAQ
Questions we get a lot.
The offer and what it costs
How much does it cost?
Reach Out is $499, one time. It is the whole report. His honest read. Every school that fits, ranked, with the reason behind it. And a first email to every coach on the list, in his voice, sent from his own Gmail. Full Season adds $400 at checkout, $899 in all, and works the whole season with him. No subscription, ever.
Are college baseball recruiting services worth the money?
It depends what you are paying for. Most of what a family buys in recruiting is exposure and hope. It is sold by people whose income depends on the dream staying alive. The real question is whether anyone will tell you the truth. BaseballPath is paid once. We take nothing from schools. We have no reason to flatter him.
What does the whole college baseball recruiting process cost?
More than most families plan for. And almost none of it goes to direction. Travel ball, showcases, camps, and video run for years. They buy exposure. The part that narrows the list is usually the last thing anyone pays for. That part is which programs fit him on the field, in class, and on the roster.
Will it show me what schools cost?
Yes. Every school in your report shows what a family at your income would really pay. That is after typical aid. The data comes from the U.S. Department of Education. We never store or save your income.
The guarantees
What if I am not happy with the report?
Read it. If you think we are wrong, tell us inside 7 days and we refund you, and he keeps the read, the ranked list, the reasons, and the coach contacts. That is The Replay Review Guarantee, one of three under The Bases-Loaded Guarantee. It has no conditions. The 7 days start when you open the report. Full terms: Unconditional, 7 days from the moment you open the report.
What if no college coach ever writes back?
60 days to hear back from a college coach, or your money back and we keep working. That is The Oh-fer Guarantee, the Reach Out promise inside The Bases-Loaded Guarantee. He has to do the work: every drafted school sent inside 30 days, the ladder on schedule, and honest numbers. Full terms: Reach Out only.
Does BaseballPath guarantee that he will get a college offer?
No. Nobody can promise that, and we do not. Full Season carries The Double Play Guarantee, the third promise inside The Bases-Loaded Guarantee: Decision Day with no offer, double your money back, and we keep working. It is earned by his work, not by buying. Full terms: Full Season only.
How the read works
How does BaseballPath rank which schools fit my son?
Four steps. His numbers are scored by position and grad year against real college players, on a fixed rubric. His grades are scored against the range each school actually admits. Each roster is read for real room at his spot. Then every school on the list gets three or four real reasons, in plain words, that you can check.
Is BaseballPath a recruiting service?
No. BaseballPath does not promise placement, take money from schools, or run a subscription. Coaches hear from the player, not from us. Your first emails are drafted from your own numbers, in your words. They send from your own inbox, so replies come back to you. The report maps you to the schools where your profile actually fits. Up to 75, across balanced, academic-first, and baseball-first lists. Not just a score.
Is his SAT or ACT score used in his report?
It is scored on its own, apart from baseball. Each score is judged against the range each school actually admits. Not one national bar. No test yet, or going test-optional? The report accounts for that instead of counting it as a weak score. A score he will never send should not steer his list.
Why is his exit velocity different at every showcase?
Events do not all measure the same way. Off a tee, exit velo runs about five to ten mph over a game number. Different events use different tools too. Two honest numbers can disagree. But the biggest gap is not the tool. It is his best swing ever against what he really gets. Use the number he gets most days.
What if I think you got his level wrong?
Start with the number the report names as the one holding him back. The report says plainly when one metric is carrying the read. Most disagreements are about how a number was measured, not whether it is true. Still think we are wrong? The Replay Review Guarantee gives you 7 days and your money back.
Can I connect my email?
Yes, and it is optional. Connect your Gmail and every email on your list sends from your own address with one tap. Coach replies come back to you and show up next to the school they came from. We never send anything you did not press Send on. You can disconnect at any time.
Recruiting, plainly
When should we start the college baseball recruiting process?
Earlier than most think for measuring. Later than most think for outreach. Real, measured numbers as a freshman give you a line to track, not one lone snapshot. Coach contact is limited by rule, by division, no matter how ready he is. The two clocks run on different schedules.
When do college baseball coaches start recruiting players?
It depends on the division. D1 coaches cannot call, text, or email him before August 1 of his junior year. Off-campus contact opens September 1. D2 opens June 15 before junior year. D3, NAIA, and JUCO have no NCAA calendar at all. None of that stops a coach from watching him earlier.
What does it mean when a college coach invites him to a camp?
Usually marketing, not recruiting. Camp invites go out to big lists. Camp money is part of how programs get paid. So an invite is not proof anyone watched him. The tell is detail: a real signal names where the coach saw him play, or points to his video. A generic invite is standard mail.
What are the requirements to play D1 college baseball?
There is no single agreed-on bar. Search five sites and you get five different charts for exit velocity and 60 time. The real answer depends on his position, his grad year, and which programs you mean by D1. A corner bat and a middle infielder are not held to the same numbers.
How many college baseball programs are there?
About 900 across D1, D2, and D3. NAIA and JUCO sit on top of that. That is the opportunity and the whole problem. The hard part is picking the twenty to twenty-five where his numbers, his grades, and a real roster need all line up. It is a weekend of work almost every family skips.
Do most high school baseball players play in college?
Most do not, and that is true at every talent level. Roster math, timing, and fit decide as much as ability does. That is context, not a verdict on any one player. It is why a realistic list beats a hopeful one. And why nobody should read a national number as his number.
Do walk-on spots still exist in college baseball?
It is more complicated than walk-ons being gone. Only schools that opted into the House settlement carry roster caps. Schools that did not opt in still run under the older, larger rules. At capped programs, every seat is now a choice someone makes on purpose. Walk-on seats included. It is program by program.
What is the difference between a verbal commitment and a real offer?
A verbal commitment is not binding at any level, D1 through JUCO. What binds at D1 and D2 is a written athletics financial aid agreement, signed in the sport signing window. At D3 and NAIA, it is the normal admissions process once a deposit is paid. A spoken yes is real. It is not paperwork.
How do you email a college baseball coach so he actually reads it?
Lead with what a coach needs in the first three lines: grad year, position, one real number, and where to watch film. Send it from his own address. Send it to the coach who recruits his position at that program. Mail that opens with Dear Coach reads as a mass send. It gets deleted.
Why is a college coach not responding to his emails?
Usually one of three things, and rarely a verdict on his talent. A contact-date rule may bar the coach from replying yet. The calendar may be in a dead or quiet period. Or the roster may be full at his position and class. He can email in every period. Only the reply has to wait.
Should a parent write his recruiting emails for him?
No. Coaches say they can tell in the first sentence. A coach is deciding whether to spend four years on a seventeen-year-old. Part of that read is whether the kid runs his own process. The parent job is different and just as important. Pay for it. Keep the calendar. Keep the numbers honest. Handle the money talk.
Does he need a fancy recruiting video to get noticed?
No. Overdone video works against him. A coach decides in the first few seconds whether to keep watching. So the front of the tape matters far more than editing, music, or slow motion. One clean angle, filmed after a real warm-up, with every rep shown to the end. That is what a coach can judge.
What is the NCAA Eligibility Center and when do we register?
It is the NCAA process that certifies academics and amateur status. It is separate from any school admissions office. Register early in high school, not senior year. Most of the required core courses must be done before senior year. A transcript problem found late is usually one nobody can fix.
